He's baaaaaaaaaaack
Hello everyone. Its been a long time coming, but with a week extra off I'm hoping to find the time to update everyone on my recent whereabouts an on-goings in the life of Ben.Last we left off I had just returned from the roadtrip with John. According to my holiday letter I was completely up in the air on what to do but we were still friends. Accoring to HIS email we had fought over a prostitute on the road and no longer talked to one another. The moment of truth has arrived, you will finally learn the exciting truth about what became of the infamous John Breen and the Boy Wonder... after our messages.

John is in Boston and I'm in Georgia.
The end.
Seriously, we returned last October, are still very good friends having fought only once or twice on the road about nothing as serious as a prostitute. I went to work the very next day at Northeastern University where they needed me to help finish up a project. I helped them out while living in one of the guy's unused basement apartment that had zero furniture, accessories or even toilet paper. After we finished the work they presented the project and we all went out to 'all you can eat' sushi (that'll come in later in the story). I spent the next day throwing up (it was a surprise for me when sushi came back into the story so suddenly as well). That day was Halloween so by the end of the night I gathered myself up and met up with family to see my little niece Morgan dressed up (and to watch other people eat pizza). I sat 2 seats to the left of Paul and there were....
Ok, that story was getting way too detailed. I apologize. After that I stayed at home and looked for temp work so that I could stay home for the holidays. I eventually found a 2 month job at Corning NetOptix in Keene which I stretched into around 4 months and then left to strike it rich in Georgia with my brother Paul. Paul vastly overstated the coollness of Atlanta. Don't get me wrong, we have fun and his friends are great, but most of the other Southern folks just don't strike the right chords with me. I looked for a job for about 2 months before I found my current job at Alum-a-lift. (Alum-a-lift.com). The job is great but the commute is around an hour. I'm getting used to it and reading my fair share of books on tape, book on mp3, mp3's on tape, movies on tape, movies on mp3, cds on dvd on mp3 on vhs on..... you get it. Oh, we're also working on Paul's house. Picture to come. We've gotten the hang of cutting and hanging drywall but sort of skimmed over the chapters on mudding, taping, and skimming. Here's a fun tip DIY books don't share with you: drywall fixes studs, mud and tape fix drywall, but paint does NOT fix mud and tape.
I almost said that brings you up to speed on my lift but it actually leaves out the major change in my life since last year. Sadly, my father passed away on the bluemoon of June 2007. He was loved and will be missed by around 95% of the people that knew him. R.I.P. pop.
Sorry to have left you all off on a sad note, I'll try to update more often now that I have a new laptop and am making the new year's resolution to spend more time on myself (I think that was last year's resolution too).
Merry Christmas and belated happy Hanukah. Hope to see you all in the new year,
-Ben
